Race Sim Rental and Mustaches for Kids

Race Sim Rental recently had the opportunity to donate some time and a simulator for an event put on by a wonderful organization called Mustaches for Kids. The premise is simple: participants get pledges and donations to grow a mustache for one month and all the funds go to a selected children’s charity. During the growing month, there are multiple events put on by the local chapter to raise awareness and generally have a good time. Race Sim Rental was happy to provide a simulator at a recent event held at the Hemingway Social Club in Minneapolis. We held a fastest lap competition driving a Ferrari 488 GT3 at Red Bull Ring National in Austria. The fastest driver won an all-expense paid guided fishing day at any lake in Minnesota and the competition was fierce! For a while, it seemed that a time of 54.09 seconds was going to reel in the walleye but in the last fifteen minutes of the event, we had a driver get down to 53.86 and take home the prize. In addition to the simulator, there were multiple options for entertainment, all donated by local companies. Cigars were aplenty, provided by Burn, a local cigar lounge; vodka-based cocktails were on tap, courtesy of Northland Vodka; people even had the opportunity to challenge a hall of fame pool player in the pool hall for a chance at prizes. The night was a success and it was all for a wonderful organization raising money that ultimately benefits children. Everyone loved the chance to drive the simulator and Race Sim Rental is already looking forward to getting involved again in the future. Thanks to all who came out and to everyone who has donated.
